As part of the Tribute to the 100th anniversary of the Asia Minor Catastrophe, 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture presented Mystery 153 The Notebooks of Anzel Kourtian, on Sunday, November 6 at the X-Bowling Art Center. A performance – testimony about the Armenian Genocide (1915) and the Asia Minor Catastrophe, performed and directed by Christina Alexanian, based on the book of the same title by the survivor of the Armenian Genocide and refugee to Greece, Anzel Kourtian. The Notebooks of Anzel Kourtian was a performance of historical interest that has been attended by more than 40,000 spectators in Greece, France, Cyprus and the United States of America. It is a play about the mistakes of the past and the preservation of memory, mixed with the universal drama of war and refugee displacement, coming to life on stage, with Greeks, Armenians and Pontians, as well as every person who has experienced the pain of exile and death, identifying with the Kourtian.Στο πλαίσιο του Αφιερώματος για τα 100 χρόνια από τη Μικρασιατική Καταστροφή, η 2023 Ελευσίς Πολιτιστική Πρωτεύουσα της Ευρώπης παρουσίασε το Μυστήριο 153 Τα τετράδια της Ανζέλ Κουρτιάν, την Κυριακή 6 Νοεμβρίου στο X-Bowling Art Center. Μια παράσταση – μαρτυρία για τη Γενοκτονία των Αρμενίων (1915) και την Μικρασιατική Καταστροφή (1922), σε ερμηνεία και σκηνοθεσία Χριστίνας Αλεξανιάν, βασισμένη στο ομότιτλο βιβλίο της επιζήσασας της Γενοκτονίας των Αρμενίων και πρόσφυγα στην Ελλάδα Ανζέλ Κουρτιάν. Τα τετράδια της Ανζέλ Κουρτιάν είναι μια παράσταση ιστορικού ενδιαφέροντος που έχουν παρακολουθήσει μέχρι σήμερα περισσότεροι από 40.000 θεατές ανά την Ελλάδα, τη Γαλλία, την Κύπρο και τις Ηνωμένες Πολιτείες της Αμερικής. Ένα έργο για τα λάθη του παρελθόντος και τη διατήρηση της μνήμης, με το πανανθρώπινο δράμα του πολέμου και της προσφυγιάς να ζωντανεύουν επί σκηνής.
