| dc.description | Mystery 149 Transition to a Climate Neutral Future was a three-day European Pupil Conference in Elefsina, that was attented by primary and secondary school students (10-15 years old) from schools in Elefsina, Attica, Thessaloniki, as well as from Germany and other European countries. This pupil conference was organised by the Centre for Renewable Energy Sources & Saving (CRES), in collaboration with the Directorates of Primary Education of West Attica, A’ and C’ Athens, the Directorate of Secondary Education of East Thessaloniki and the Independent Institute for Environmental Issues (UfU) of Germany and was placed under the auspices of the Ministry of Education, Religious Affairs and Sport. The aim of Mystery 149 was to create the greatest possible interaction between the pupils of Elefsina and those of other cities in order to generate ideas for an energy efficient and climate neutral future. Both the schools’ preparatory work and the structure of the conference were based on participatory methods for empowering the pupils, bringing forth views and creating a collective vision. These methodologies can be used as best practices thereafter and shared with the wider national and European educational community, in line with the vision of sustainability served by the European Capital of Culture initiative. The three-day conference included, among other things, workshops, visits to exhibitions, routes in Elefsina, presentations by experts, round table discussions on environmental issues, educational games, the creation of a resolution and a student march to the Town Hall of Elefsina. The major part of the project was financed directly by the German Federal Ministry of Economic Affairs and Climate Action with resources from the European Climate Initiative (EUKI) program, while, in addition, resources from the 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture were used. | en |
| dc.description | Το Μυστήριο 149 Μετάβαση σε ένα Κλιματικά Ουδέτερο Μέλλον ήταν ένα τριήμερο Ευρωπαϊκό Μαθητικό Συνέδριο στην Ελευσίνα, στο οποίο συμμετείχαν μαθητές της πρωτοβάθμιας και της δευτεροβάθμιας εκπαίδευσης (ηλικίας 10-15 ετών) από σχολεία της Ελευσίνας, της Αττικής, της Θεσσαλονίκης, καθώς και από τη Γερμανία και άλλες χώρες της Ευρώπης. Το μαθητικό αυτό συνέδριο διοργανώθηκε από το Κέντρο Ανανεώσιμων Πηγών και Εξοικονόμησης Ενέργειας (ΚΑΠΕ) σε συνεργασία με τις Υπεύθυνες Περιβαλλοντικής Εκπαίδευσης των Διευθύνσεων Πρωτοβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης Δυτικής Αττικής, Α΄ και Γ’ Αθήνας, Δευτεροβάθμιας Εκπαίδευσης Ανατολικής Θεσσαλονίκης και το Ανεξάρτητο Ινστιτούτο για Περιβαλλοντικά Θέματα (UfU) της Γερμανίας, ενώ είχε τεθεί υπό την αιγίδα του Υπουργείου Παιδείας, Θρησκευμάτων και Αθλητισμού. Το Μυστήριο 149 αποτέλεσε συνέχεια της επιτυχημένης ελληνογερμανικής συνεργασίας στο πλαίσιο του προγράμματος European Climate Initiative (EUKI). Στόχος ήταν να δημιουργηθεί η μεγαλύτερη δυνατή αλληλεπίδραση μεταξύ των μαθητών της Ελευσίνας και εκείνων των άλλων πόλεων ώστε να προκύψουν ιδέες για τη διαμόρφωση ενός ενεργειακά αποδοτικού και κλιματικά ουδέτερου μέλλοντος. Τόσο η προετοιμασία των μαθητών όσο και η δομή του συνεδρίου βασίστηκαν σε συμμετοχικές μεθοδολογίες για την ενδυνάμωση των μαθητών, την ανάδειξη των απόψεών τους και τη δημιουργία συλλογικού οράματος. Οι μεθοδολογίες αυτές θα μπορούν να χρησιμοποιηθούν ως καλή πρακτική στη συνέχεια και να διαμοιραστούν στην ευρύτερη εθνική και ευρωπαϊκή εκπαιδευτική κοινότητα, υπακούοντας στο όραμα της βιωσιμότητας που υπηρετεί ο θεσμός της Πολιτιστικής Πρωτεύουσας της Ευρώπης. Το τριήμερο συνέδριο περιελάμβανε, μεταξύ άλλων, εργαστήρια, επισκέψεις σε εκθέσεις, διαδρομές στην Ελευσίνα, παρουσιάσεις εμπειρογνωμόνων, στρογγυλά τραπέζια οραματισμού πάνω σε περιβαλλοντικές θεματικές, εκπαιδευτικά παιχνίδια, δημιουργία ψηφίσματος και μαθητική πορεία προς το Δημαρχείο της Ελευσίνας. Το μεγαλύτερο μέρος του έργου χρηματοδοτήθηκε απ’ ευθείας από το Γερμανικό Ομοσπονδιακό Υπουργείο Οικονομικών Υποθέσεων και Κλιματικής Δράσης με πόρους του προγράμματος European Climate Initiative (EUKI), ενώ, συμπληρωματικά, χρησιμοποιήθηκαν πόροι από την 2023 Ελευσίς Πολιτιστική Πρωτεύουσα της Ευρώπης. | el |
