This document is a report on the methodology of the participatory workshops implemented in collaboration with local teachers for the implementation of the treasure hunt. Cultural heritage managers, tour guides, game designers and artists guided a group of 20 teachers in a series of 4 workshops. The team designed a treasure hunt in the public space, so that about 100 children from Elefsina could discover their city and the concept of the European Capital of Culture from a different perspective. The treasure hunt was a day full of adventure, history and puzzles, offering a unique opportunity for the young participants to discover the hidden treasure of Elefsina. With its rich history, from antiquity and the Eleusinian Mysteries, to its more recent cultural heritage, Elefsina provides the ideal place for such an exciting educational experience.
