educational material
Description
This document describes the basic needs, methodology, objectives and outcomes of designing the programme of Mystery 45 Atelier Elefsina 2023. The programme of this seven-day long capacity building was designed for emerging festival managers or those who had ambitions to get involved in festival management. Participants were able to broaden their skills, expand their horizons, and develop new project ideas under the professional guidance of renowned festival managers from around the world. These experienced professionals shared their rich expertise and provided guidance to participants throughout the seven days. The Atelier focused on the very essence of festival management – the arts, the artists, and the audience.Τhe programme focused on topics and issues raised by the selected participants, which were further developed during the Atelier. The feedback received from the participants of previous Ateliers also played a vital role in shaping the content and structure of the programme. This was developed in collaboration with multiple stakeholders, including the The Festival Academy team, freelancers Mike van Graan (South Africa) and Rashmi Dhanwani (India) and the 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture team.
