Description

Mystery 37 Voices of Elefsina is a transversal community project focusing on radio broadcasting. Its aim was to create an experimental radio station owned, powered and operated by the local community of Elefsina. Through a series of participatory artistic activities, experiential and interdisciplinary workshops, Voices of Elefsina created an open space where the city's residents can make their voices heard. The bottom-up production of radio content illuminates and highlights different aspects of the city's history, identity, collective memory and cultural heritage, strengthening the sense of belonging and contributing to its transition to a new period. Although local, Voices of Elefsina travels beyond the city's borders through collaborations - and live broadcasts - with other radio stations and networks in Greece, Europe and the world.
