| dc.description | Mystery 189 Myths and Legends of Elefsina: The Mysteries of Clay was a series of pottery workshops, that were carried out at the Elefsina Old Town Hall on June by the recognised artist Athanasios Katsaras. It was a multi-dimensional and multi-layered project concerning Greek pottery that included artistic production, research work, public participation, installations in public space and educational activities. The aim was both to enhance the city of Elefsina’s cultural self-awareness based on actual instances of cultural production and to enhance the city’s role as a permanent hub of artistic creation, a concern of the entire Downtown Creatives programme in the creative economy sector. The project took place as part of the SYNOIKISMOI A FESTIVAL. | dc.description | Το Μυστήριο 189 Μύθοι και Θρύλοι της Ελευσίνας: τα μυστήρια του πηλού ήταν μία σειρά από εργαστήρια κεραμεικής, που πραγματοποιήθηκαν στο Παλαιό Δημαρχείο Ελευσίνας τον Ιούνιο από τον αναγνωρισμένο κεραμίστα Αθανάσιο Κατσαρά. Επρόκειτο για ένα πολυδιάστατο και πολυεπίπεδο project, το οποίο περιελάμβανε καλλιτεχνική παραγωγή, ερευνητικό έργο, συμμετοχή κοινού, εγκατάσταση στον δημόσιο χώρο και εκπαιδευτικές δράσεις. Στόχος να αποκτήσει η πόλη της Ελευσίνας την πολιτιστική αυτοσυνείδηση που εδράζεται σε πραγματικά συμβάντα παραγωγής πολιτισμού, καθώς και να ενισχυθεί η λειτουργία της πόλης ως διαρκούς κόμβου καλλιτεχνικής δημιουργίας που διατρέχει όλο το πρόγραμμα του τομέα της δημιουργικής οικονομίας Downtown Creatives. Το project πραγματοποιήθηκε στο πλαίσιο του ΣΥΝΟΙΚΙΣΜΟΙ ΕΝΑ ΦΕΣΤΙΒΑΛ.
