A brief presentation on the organizational steps necessary for the implementation of sports events with cultural impact, using as a case study the action 21 km, a Day on the road to Elefsina that took place in the context of the Opening Ceremony of 2023 Elefsis. The aim of the presentation is to inform institutions and actors who undertake or intend to undertake the organisation of similar actions.
