Mystery 29 Elefsina - Raw Museum exhibition is an emblematic project of 2023 Eleusis European Capital of Culture, focusing on the contemporary and unknown history of the city. An exploration of the fragments making up the phenomenon known as ELEFSINA, a journey through its micro-history, industrial development, sorely-tried work reality, its connection with arts and Aeschylus, whose birthplace it is. A discovery of its uniqueness and Mysteries via personal stories in the form of speaking portraits of Elefsinians and other individuals whose lives were associated with the city, as well as rare objects coming from the Benaki Museum collections and private collections exhibited here for the first time.
